Family Key-chains

Went to Winsor Plaza Hotel this morning after mass for tim sum brunch. Big crowd there. Quality of the food is so-so. Price ranges from 22,000VND to 48,000VND per dish. I'm sad to say that the delicious sesame buns are no more delicious. I think the chef has changed - a great pity. The buns used to be a mouth-watering sensation but not any more. Sad!

Walked around the old An Dong Market - nothing changed there. Gets boring after a while. Some changes to report about the new An Dong Plaza though. They have turned Level 3 into a Saigon Square look-alike; it's now more fun to shop there than previously.

Found a shop selling some cute letter keychains @15,000VND; so bought 5 for the five of us.

National Day

As true blue Singaporeans, we returned home for our annual celebration of Singapore's National Day celebration - Happy 45th birthday, Singapore. We also brought back with us 4 teachers from Vietnam; 2 were on attachment to PCF Bishan East Centre, thanks to the kind principal, Mrs Irene Wong. Looks like the YOG spirit is on everywhere, and we were so excited when the torch relay came right to our very doorstep where we witnessed one change of torch bearers. It was good to be home again, even if it's only for a week or so.
