Mui Ne comes a calling, and we respond. This will be the 3 kiddos' first trip to Mui Ne - I think they'll like it there - sun, sea but not much surf!! More of sand from the sand dunes, but it'll be fun. This time we're staying at Hai Au Resort - got a big room with 3 double beds for USD96/night - a good bargain for a 4-star resort. Compared to paying 1,500,000VND per head for a 3D2N Mui Ne trip from Sinh Cafe (total 7,500,000VND), we should be able to shave off a few tens and still get to stay in a 4-star resort - Mui Ne Resort is 2-star.
Sinh Cafe is good and cheap for 2-3 travellers but with more pax, planning your own accom and transport may be more cost-effective.
We decided to give the PuTa coach (from the Phuong Trang Group) a shot and booked the open tour bus with them (160,000VND two-way/head). The orange coaches look good - will update on the quality of the ride later.

I remember my trip to Mui Ne. I also stayed at a 4 star resort. It was beautiful, yet deceiving. Their private beach property had dangerous rocks in the shallow. I happened to step on them quite often. It was terrible how someone could have been seriously hurt.
